Miso Butter Salmon Fillet

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 150g each), skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon white miso paste
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, Β½ tablespoon finely grated lemon zest
  • Spring onions/shallots for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Mix butter, miso paste, grated garlic, lemon juice, and zest until well combined.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry β€” skin-side too. Preheat airfryer to 200Β°C for 3 minutes.
  3. Spread miso butter thickly over the flesh side. Place skin-side DOWN in airfryer basket. Cook at 200Β°C for 8-10 minutes until flesh flakes easily and skin is golden and crisp.
  4. Plate skin-side up to keep crispy. Top with spring onions and a squeeze of lemon. Serve over steamed rice or stir-fried greens.
