Fish and Chip

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 pcs Pacific Dory fillet, thawed
  • 1 cup flour, 1 cup beer or sparkling water, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • Vegetable oil for frying, lemon wedges and tartar sauce to serve

Instructions:

  1. Mix batter: flour, baking powder, salt, and gradually whisk in beer until smooth. Fry potato chips at 175Β°C until golden. Season with salt.
  2. Raise oil to 190Β°C. Dip dory fillets in batter and fry 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
