Fish Slice Hor Fun

Ingredients:

  • 500g Toman fish slices, thawed
  • 300g hor fun (flat rice noodles)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Noodles:

    • Cook the hor fun according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Stir-Fry the Aromatics:

    • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
    • Add the onion and bell pepper, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Cook the Fish:

    • Add the Toman fish slices to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until the fish is opaque and cooked through.
  4. Make the Sauce:

    • Stir in chicken broth, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Bring to a simmer.
    • Add the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Combine and Serve:

    • Add the cooked hor fun to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
    • Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
