Garlic Butter Tiger Prawns Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g tiger prawns, deveined and cleaned
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Prawns:

    • Thaw the prawns in the refrigerator overnight or under cold water. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
  2. Heat the Pan:

    • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and bubbling.
  3. Cook the Prawns:

    • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Add the prawns to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the prawns turn pink and opaque.
  4. Add Lemon Juice and Butter:

    • Squeeze the lemon juice over the prawns and add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the prawns are well coated.
  5. Serve:

    • Transfer the prawns to a serving dish and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
