Grilled Oysters with Ponzu Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12 pcs oyster, sashimi grade, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon mirin (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 green onion, finely sliced
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Oysters:

    • Thaw the oysters in the refrigerator or under cold water. Rinse and drain.
  2. Make the Ponzu Sauce:

    • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, lemon juice, mirin, and grated ginger. Mix well.
  3. Grill the Oysters:

    • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the oysters on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes until they are just cooked through.
  4. Serve:

    • Arrange the grilled oysters on a serving plate. Drizzle with ponzu sauce and garnish with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro.
