Stir-Fried Prawn Meat

Ingredients:

  • 500g prawn meat, thawed and patted dry
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, minced
  • 1 red and 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste, fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add prawn meat and stir-fry 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  3. Add bell peppers and cook 2-3 minutes until tender but crisp.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch mixture. Cook 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens. Drizzle with sesame oil.
  5. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
